Saturday 14 September – We hope to start with breakfast/coffee followed by visits to some of the town centre venues open for National Heritage weekend and perhaps a visit to the exhibition People and Places at Guildford House Gallery. The Heritage Weekend programme is not out until August so further details on this nearer the time. There is no charge for entrance.
Sunday 15 September – Bandstand Concert in Castle Grounds, 2-4pm, Mole Valley Silver Band
Bring a rug, bring a picnic, bring the whole family if you wish and enjoy the band and the wonderful surroundings of the castle grounds. The band will play a variety of music from traditional band marches to show themes etc. Free event.
Tuesday 17 September – Electric Theatre. Little Women 7.30pm
Performance is by Triple C Theatre Company which is a local group. Tickets £15.00
Thursday, 19th September 2:30pm - Northern Ballet, Cinderella, New Victoria Theatre Woking
Some tickets have already been purchased. If you would like to join us please purchase your own tickets and we will see you there. We are in Row B in the upper circle. If you wish to sit elsewhere let us know and we can meet up beforehand or in the interval.
Friday 20 September – G Live – London International Gospel Choir 8pm Tickets £27.00/£18.00 (over 60’s and other concessions) in collaboration with Donate4Refugees.
The choir have performed on the Take That tour, at the Michele Obama book launch and with numerous other artists. Their repertoire is an uplifting mix of gospel, pop and soul.
Sunday 22 September - Guided Town Walk with Guildford Town Guide 2.30 from outside Guildhall – Art and Artists
A walk to discover the art works in the town centre, some well known, others hidden away, as well as the great artists whose home was here. Free event (This is a public event not just for us).
